Sources & credits

The readers include Quranic text, English translation, word meanings, editorial context, and imaginative illustrations. Each reader also provides relevant source links and image captions.

The saved source notices below preserve attribution and licence information for the corresponding datasets. Editable word-gloss and edition files are supplied alongside them. The Quranic Arabic Corpus word-gloss data retains its GNU GPL v3 licence; see the included licence text and individual notices.

Generated illustrations are imaginative interpretations or visual metaphors, not historical evidence. Museum images retain their captions and attributions. Recorded recitation and word pronunciation are streamed from external providers and are not included as audio files in this website package.
